Meniscectomy for a meniscus tear

Here’s a good description of the surgery I just had yesterday. Recovering well. Sleep was tough last night. I had lots of pain and discomfort. That is until the wonderful Vicoden kicked in. Snoozed like a baby after that!

So today, I’m hanging out watching the History Channel and HGTV, catching up on emails and wearing a beautiful bandage and ice pack.

Sarah is very concerned about the Betadine stains on my foot and leg. She thinks it is kind of gross to look at. She thinks my shaved leg is quite funny. Just wait until I can take my bandage off tomorrow. It’ll really look funny then!
