If you have not discovered James Likeks, I highly recommend his daily blog posting, "The Bleat".  The link below takes you to today’s post (Sept. 7th).  It is some of the best writing I’ve come across lately, and deserves a look. 

A few pointers…Gnat is his kindergarten age daughter, and the blog usually is a compendium of his daily activities.  It is a humorous and insightful diary.
