Mark Roberts, pastor of Irvine Presbyterian Church, has NAILED it.  I highly suggest his blog.  Today’s posting is about spending lots of one-on-one time with your kids.  It is so true.  The more time I spend with Sarah on Indian Princess camp outs, the more she and I click.  When we are together away from Mardi (sorry Sweetie!) and Clara, Sarah and I interact on a totally different level.  She actually seems to respect me more and love being with me when we are together.  It’s a great feeling as a Dad.

Check out the blog.  I do look forward to longer trips to bond with both Sarah and Clara separately.  (Okay Honey, you and I can take those one-on-one trips too!  So much demand for my time!)
