I am a major slacker!  Has it really been over 3 weeks since my last posting?  Not much of a way to gain readership or additional followers to the blog, is it?  The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity:  a five day trip on business to Vegas followed immediately by a spring break family trip to Puerto Rico.  Both were enjoyable trips, but man they were both busy.  Both, however, provided some good inspiration for future blog posts:

• The enjoyment of seeing the desert awash with green in the springtime
• The bizarre and depressing state of the Vegas nightlife
• The trial run of some new photo and travel gear – the Canon EOS 50D, the Scott eVest and the ThinkTank Photo Shape Shifter backpack.  Reviews to follow soon.
• The great fun and joy of showing our girls around Puerto Rico, reminiscing about our time living there
• The last minute coordination and meeting up with old friends in PR
• The impact of small, but meaningful, memories of PR
• The fun of using long layovers to visit with old friends

There was good inspiration on these trips.  I hope to provide some blog articles soon on all of these.

In the meantime, stay tuned dear friends and family.  I’ll be posting again soon once I get my bearings back at home.
